Jesus's body lay in the tomb. A large stone was put in front of the door. The wicked priests asked Pilate to have guards stand outside the tomb to make sure no one went inside. (The Friend, April 2011)
- Saturday is the day our family does egg hunts and "Easter bunny" activities. That way we can devote Sunday to Jesus.
- Read Matthew 27:62-66, 1 Peter 3:18-20, and Doctrine and Covenants 138:29-37. Think/journal about the mercy of vicarious work as part of the plan of redemption.
- Read "The Belayer." How does it make you feel to know that Jesus Christ died for you? Why is Christ's sacrifice significant to you?
